Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your B2Czone account and what data is removed. The process is straightforward and can be done directly from the app.

Who this page is for

  • This page explains how to request deletion of your B2Czone account and what happens to your data. It applies to the B2Czone user app (booking services) and the B2Czone locals app (providing services). Customer and locals provider accounts are separate; deleting one does not delete the other.

How to request account deletion

  • [Recommended] In the B2Czone user app: open Profile, then use the delete-account option and confirm the prompts. You must be signed in. The app calls our servers to remove your account and the data described below.
  • [Recommended] In the B2Czone locals app: open the delete-account screen from your profile/settings area, complete the short flow, and confirm. You must be signed in.
  • If you cannot use the app, email us at info@b2czone.com from an address you control. Include the mobile number registered on the account and whether it is a B2Czone user account, a B2Czone locals account, or both. We may ask for additional information to verify you before processing a manual request.

What we delete for a B2Czone user account

  • When deletion completes successfully, we remove your user record for that role.
  • We delete jobs you created and, for each such job, associated in-app chat messages, job offers, payment records stored in our system for that job, ratings, and complaints tied to that job.
  • We remove your saved favourite locals linked to your account.
  • We remove unused OTP login codes for that phone number in the customer role.

What we delete for a B2Czone locals account

  • When deletion completes successfully, we remove your user record and your locals profile for that role.
  • We delete your job offers, your availability row, and ratings about you as a local. We remove you as the sender of in-app chat messages you sent. We clear your profile reference from complaints in a way that detaches your profile from those records.
  • We remove favourites that listed you as a local.
  • We remove unused OTP login codes for that phone number in the locals provider role.

What may be retained

  • Payment records at Razorpay: Razorpay retains transaction records under its own policies and legal obligations. We cannot delete records held by Razorpay on your behalf.
  • Operational server logs and analytics events: these may be retained for up to 90 days for security, fraud investigation, and technical troubleshooting, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
  • Data the law requires us to keep: if any legal obligation requires us to retain specific data for a set period, we will keep that data only for the required duration and for that purpose only.
  • Aggregated, anonymised data: we may retain statistical or aggregate information that cannot be used to identify you.

Processing time

  • In-app deletion: the app calls our deletion endpoint directly and the process starts immediately. Most deletions are completed within seconds to a few minutes.
  • Email requests: we process manual requests within 30 days. We will email you to confirm once the deletion is complete.
